IBEROSTAR PARAISO
Please book your room at the Iberostar Paraiso as soon as possible.
In order to allow our guests flexibility in dates and which level of resort you’d most prefer, we have not blocked off rooms. The downside is that this means we do not have a locked in price. Rooms are currently discounted about $400 – $500 thanks to Covid-19 so again I highly recommend booking your room now before prices raise again!
Prices below are based on searching May 3, 2022 – May 7, 2022. Flights are most expensive on Fridays and Sundays so booking your trip Monday – Saturday or Tuesday – Saturday will likely be the best price for flights as well.
Our wedding is a Thursday (May 5) so please allow yourself time to arrive and time to recover before returning home.
You have the option of the following resorts:
–Paraiso Beach ($1,053 per couple for 4 nights): the wedding will be hosted on the beach here. This one has the prettiest pool and beach. The flamingoes and wildlife are pretty cool here too! The service and food are great! The Paraiso Beach has a great beach-access room option available ($1,443 per couple for 4 nights) but limited AC in the common areas. Beach guests cannot use the upgraded resorts’ amenities at Lindo, Maya, or Grand.
–Selection Paraiso Lindo ($1,130 per couple for 4 nights): this is one level up from the Beach and offers a better selection of food and alcohol. There is a water park and lazy river here that Beach guests cannot access. AC is in most common areas and all rooms. There are no beachfront or beach access rooms in the Lindo. Lindo guests can use Beach amenities and restaurants.
–Selection Paraiso Maya Suites ($1,492 per couple for 4 nights): this is one level up from the Lindo and offers a better selection of food and alcohol. There is a water park and lazy river here that Beach guests cannot access. AC is in the common areas and all rooms. There are no beachfront or beach access rooms at the Maya. Maya guests can use the Lindo and Beach amenities and restaurants.
–The Grand ($2,282 per couple for 4 nights): this is the highest level available and is strictly adults-only. You will have a private butler for anything you may need during your stay. They have amazing beach-front rooms and AC everywhere. Grand guests can access all resort amenities and restaurants.

Essentially you can access amenities and resorts to the right of where you are staying (for example, Lindo cannot access Grand or Maya but Lindo can access Beach).
Overall, the resort is massive and you cannot go wrong! In addition to each resort having numerous restaurants, buffets, bars, and pools there is also a small casino, cigar bar, and disco (nightclub). Each resort has a theater with nightly entertainment and performances. There are golf carts to take you wherever you’d like to go on the resort, or you can rent a bicycle.
Download the Iberostar app before you go so you can make dinner reservations. I will also provide an email address for the on-site concierge so you can email dinner reservation requests ahead of time. Most restaurants REQUIRE reservations. The best restaurants fill up fast so it is best to take care of this ahead of time or upon arrival.
There is plenty to do without ever leaving the resort, but you do receive all-inclusive access to the sister Iberostar resorts in Cozumel and Cancun if you’d like to go explore.
If you are not traveling with anyone please reach out to me and I can put you in contact with another guest looking to share. The price is the same whether one person books or 2 people book so there is a great opportunity for savings if you are comfortable sharing a room with a friend or family member. There are 2-bedroom suites available as well for groups of 3 – 6.
